AirLogic Layers

Working in AirLogic, you can customize MyMap by adding data through layers.

Click on the Layer Category or the downward arrow to display specific layers under the categories

Air Logic Layers
Sites
– Key Site Locations and groups
Ground Sensors – Public Ground sensor networks available for reference
Basemaps – turn on satellite imagery basemap for context

Sites Layer

Sites – Key Site Locations and groups

You can click on the category name to zoom to the geographic extent of the sites in each group, or Select a layer to display the sites in that group

Sites Layer – GHG Report

In this example, the Greenhouse Gas Report (GHG) from 2019 lists key facilities across the United States.

Icons represent the functional category of each site. Your imported sites will display as color coded dots.

Data through March 2021 is loaded for GHG Report Site. These sites are provided for reference locations near key sites for context.

Filtering Sites – Search Bar

You can filter sites by using the filter bar

Simply start typing to filter based on the facility name or the company name.

In this example, typing “Colorado” will only display locations that contain that word.

Ground Sensor Networks

BlueSky has included the PurpleAir, OpenAQ, and AirNow ground sensor networks in AirLogic.

The overall air quality status (green, yellow, red) of a ground sensor or a site is determined based on the values of the individual metrics tracked at that location. If at least one metric is in the red range, then the status is red. If at least one metric is in the yellow range and none in the red range, then the status is yellow. And, finally, if all the metrics are in the green range, the overall status is green.

Satellite and Street Data

BlueSky has included MapBox satellite imagery and street data with Global Coverage to provide your map with more context.

Select a Site for viewing

Simply click a site icon or point on MyMap to view the relevant satellite and related air quality and emissions data collected at that site.

Review Key Satellite and Site Location Data

In the case of TROPOMI, MODIS and GHGSAT-PULSE, the default time period is daily. In the case of TROPOMI and MODIS, the value displayed in the chart for a selected date corresponds to the satellite measurement at the local overpass time for that date. In the case of GHGSAT-PULSE, the value displayed in the chart corresponds to a monthly average. Setting the time period to monthly/quarterly you can obtain a monthly/quarterly rolling average for the selected metric.
